How to make Chocolate Ganache

Chocolate Ganache is used for many things. I use it to fill cupcakes, ice cakes, make tarts and dip fruits in. It will not harden like regular melted chocolate because the cream helps it stay soft.

It is very versatile and you can use it for a lot of different things. For a fun flavor variation, I put just a pinch of coffee grounds in the ganache after it is melted to give it a coffee flavor. The "Chocolate Coffee Ganache" is what I used to fill the Pomegranate Cupcake

How to make chocolate ganache:

8 oz of Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream heated until hot
Pour cream over chocolate chips and stir until it is a smooth texture
Smooth chocolate ganache ready for enhancing your favorite dessert.
